I can attest. Mine is 8.5 yo and its been a love/hate relationship. 99.9% love but sometimes that 0.1% is big.

I'm currently at 21K mi and noticed oil being a bit low at random checks somewhere around 11K but may have had oil consumption issue prior. Made the dealer aware and at around 16,500 had the oil changed with the service department beginning a mandated oil check at dealer every 1K mi to the next...

Yes, but until your VIN "comes up" regarding the animation changes, your dealer will either not know what you are talking about and/or try for a long time to install the update and fail (success for a few).

I don't recall the kicker speaker models.

Local shop installed kicker amp/speakers. Sounds a ton better. I believe it was around $1400.

Recall is regarding the heat shield, not the spare.
