I had originally planned to get the diamondback before buying the hard fold. Only reason I didn’t is the ease of bed use. I know the panels come off but it leaves the center section. There is really no perfect option.

I have the hard folding cover from Real Truck on mine 2500. It's ok, it does its job. We will see how long it lasts. Granted, at the time when I bought it it didnt say Real Truck on GMs website. I am still thinking of one day getting the Diamondback.

Agreed. I have looked a couple of times at the truck I traded in for this one. I always want to know what deal I got in the end. So far it has gone from 51750 to 50k even. My deal is getting better all the time lol. From the looks of it, they stripped all the tint off of it too.

Gotcha. Life’s short might as well enjoy what we can while we are here or before the gov fucks us and takes it all away lol. I miss the get up of the 6.2l but I’m ok with being a bit slower. I’ve driven fast cars my whole life. Gotten in trouble with them too. Florida now has a super speeder...

Thought you were selling your 1500? 10 yr warranty for only that issue though. Rather just have a plain old motor. I understand the truck overall is t any more reliable. Nothing is these days. But I got to get the one I wanted in the first place lol.

Didn’t buy mine because it got great mileage. I knew it wouldn’t going in. If I wanted mileage I’d buy a Prius or some crap. I don’t think I have ever owned anything that got great mileage. Up til I got my first truck, I had six different Camros. So definitely not about mpg there lol.

Mine has not did the stuttering like the old truck did but now it just cuts out completely from time to time. I love it. It gives me warms fuzzies every time I am jamming with the windows down and that shit cuts out. I bet I am the envy of everyone within ear shot.
