Has anyone had thier grill refinished in matte black to match the after market bumper? My girl ate up a white tail deer in Billings. I need to replace the full grill and bumper. I have been considering this option.
I got in the truck this morning after a rainstorm and there is water dripping down the controls overhead. Soaked down the headliner pretty well and dripped below onto my phone and belongings. I love where it shows pretty heavy. I guess we'll see how much of an issue this is going to be.
Three times on a cross country trip my 1500 ZR2 has been unable to connect to my key fob. The 'fix' had not worked. The truck eventually finds it without explanation as to how. No, it's not the battery. Anybody else?
It's ridiculous. I have the same feelings. And the in vehicle maps are complete crap. The processing is too slow to keep up with posted driving speeds.
What about just getting a portion in black matte? I saw a ZR2 with a red vinyl stripe down the middle. Not sure where your scratch is or how much coverage you need.
I didn't do the installation myself. They scheduled me for five hours and took two, telling me they didn't realize they were the XL model and that supposedly those are an easier install.
The steps cost $1,900, and the installation was $300. The installation seems pretty straightforward. I think I could have done the installation myself, as they are considered plug-and-play, but I just didn't have the time.
I just had these installed this week. I really like them. They do come down lower than the original so I still have to pull myself in. Price you pay at 5'2".
Duraflaps. I'm shopping for mudflaps before I drag this truck cross country. You posted about you and your SIL's trucks. I'm wondering if either trucks are 1500s like my truck, and if so what options you went with.
I've been wondering about the tape as well. If it sits flush to the hood, how would it deflect. I think I am going to go with the option you have used.
I love my truck. It handles off road really well. Great power with the 6.2. I was looking at the AT4X previously but I'm very happy I went Chevy instead. If you are going to test drive, see if they can't find you a spot you can at least feel the suspension!
