Received my vin today, built last week on schedule. Now the waiting game for the train ride to Michigan.

So far it appears all the new refreshes have come from Mexico. At least when you do an inventory search on Chevys website.

Scheduled build date this week, dealer order (not custom order) back on Dec 15th. With mutiflex tailgate. Hopefully have an update tomorrow if has been built or not.

My dealer is still accepting employee price. A few other ones I called around to also did.

Not sure if your dealer can pull this info, just curious where your truck was built... Mexico, Canada or Fort Wayne. My dealer told me that surprisingly he gets trucks out of Mexico faster than the others and we're in Michigan.

I have not heard anything about that, but like most things it'll be sales driven. I would imagine it'll be around for at least a few years.

These codes give some explanation. The quick answer for 3400 would be that your trucks build has been broadcasted to the plant and suppliers so they can get the parts required to build the truck. Unless there is some sort of unforseen part shortage it should be built on time. Event Codes...

My username no longer will apply here's why.. Called several dealerships to place an order, no one has any allocation to make an order (in my area). Decided to grab up a Zr2 that one of the dealerships had ordered back on December 18th, currently has a scheduled build of March 7th. No hassle...

Once your vehicle build has been accepted and there are no constraints, a VIN will be assigned. So yes very common to have a Vin before its built, it's just whether or not your dealer cares /has the knowledge to get it for you.
