In my humble opinion the ZR2 is a bit of a anomaly. Its better suited for offroad than the Trailboss or Rebel but its not as good as the RHO, TRX or Raptor. Its closest direct competitor is probably the Tremor. GM is crazier than hell saying the new Hummer is GM's Raptor / TRX competitor.
Another good one was that old Ford 300 inline 6. It'll pull a house off its foundation while smoking a filter less Camel and sluggin Southern Comfort! You couldn't tear that thing up.

I just discovered something pretty cool with the app. You can hit the notification bell in the upper left corner of the infotainment screen and it brings up this....
Press that and it opens the app. For some reason it doesn't do it every time though.
If the lid is no more than 3-4 inches tall when opened I don't think it should be a problem. At that height it would probably just block seeing part of the hood.

If on your phone while in Play Store, in the device drop down pick car. Then look for Infiniti Personalized Sound. You can download it from your phone to the truck then the next time you start the truck it will install.
I downloaded the app to my truck after reading this post. I think its made a BIG difference! There is a lot more bass and it seems clearer. I run all of my music through Amazon Music on Android Auto. I use Amazon's onboard app which makes a noticeable difference but this kicks it up another...
