Awesome time at Big Bend. Hiking and off roading. The 2500 did awesome even on some small trails more suited to the jeeps I was with. Averaged 14 mpg for the trip from DFW with strong headwinds both there and back.

Took the car to get a new wrap.

I pulled the dipstick. These new dipsticks that are made of wire and where the end is solid and has the range area are a bit hard to tell if the oil is above where it should be. We don’t have the full blade anymore that was easy to read if it was too full. It looked ok from what I could tell.

good to hear positive results of the updates. These always concern me and sometimes I wait for them to work the bugs out of the updates before I do mine. Same with phones. 🙄

Got an email from GM that says to bring my truck to the dealer for software updates. Anyone else get this? I thought they could do these over the airwaves now? 🤷
