You won't hear the gurgle from the DFM activating but you will hear nothing because the module shuts the fuel off to the entire engine when below a certain point of throttle input. So you will hear your engine running and then everything will go silent until you slow down to about 10 or 15 miles...

These guys are talking about taking apart the engine and the top half and removing the DFM system completely.... Not just a bypass. It is thoroughly rebuilding the engine.
