My guess is this...The computer recognizes that you shut down. It does not immediately recognize that it will automatically turn off your lights, so it chimes to remind you to do it.
Cummins installs roller lifters and they have issues. GM uses roller lifters and they have issues. Harley has always had issues with roller lifters. I'm not saying roller lifters are bad, but there has to be a reason the Duramax can use them and not have issues as well as other engine designs...
Agree...But I don't see it playing out. Everybody has for years been trying to ditch Windows, only to come back to it. GM can try things, but the consumer will ultimately drive it.
I support the idea, if it's built correctly. The idea of having a tail light cost $1,200 because it has a module built into it makes me think that way. This system will essentially eliminate all modules except one. The downside is, if that module fails, your ass is gonna hurt once it's out...
