I put mine in same spot (Baja Designs Switch) and was able to run the wiring through the driver's side area of the console. The side cover piece comes off and gives you access. Had to loosen the center console screws to allow lifting to the console. Wires will fit with that route to firewall...

On another note, that PPE deep trans pan didn't let the tranny go above 198 all day, inclines from 2000ft ending around 7k. Very happy with it

Just got back from a 3 day trip to Evans Flat and surrounding mountains just above Lake Isabella. Great trail, surrounded by a bunch of Toys on this trip, one broke leaving it 2wd only. Had to drag it up last incline.
