I would have to sand or get rid of the surface rust before spraying it, right? Or does the wax not trap in the moisture/rust making it worse? I’m worried if I just cover it up I could somehow accelerate a problem. Thanks for all of the help and advice!

I can’t comment on 1500 vs 2500, but I honestly love how these trucks ride. Stiff, but confident. We live off a short dirt road with pretty significant potholes. Jumping from my Colorado ZR2 to my 2500, I actually get less head toss because of the longer wheelbase. I would absolutely buy again...

Haha. Thank you! We’ve had sterling gray on our last 3 trucks. I really love it. I took my Colorado ZR2 on a trail that got much, MUCH narrower the deeper in I got. Scratched the heck out of it and you can’t tell at all.
