Had my oil changed today with Shell Rotella T6 15W40 and a stock GM oil filter. Also replaced my fuel filter and, after 10K miles, it looked great and I could have easily gone another 5K miles. Rotated the tires too. This was my 4th oil change since I bought her.

1500 is fine. It's the 2500 that are in question. I had mine on my 1500 and it was AWESOME!

I live in FL and find no need for a dash cover...ever. If you're concerned about UV, just use a quality interior protectant and use it onboard the dash.

Factory

I have a Black F250 Platinum Tremor fairly loaded with the 7.3L Godzilla on factory order. They did not want a deposit and if I like it, I buy it. If not, it goes their lot to sell. Beautiful truck so we'll see once it arrives. The order was just accepted by Ford last week. Never been a Ford guy...
