I went down that rabbit hole and there are some good options out there. However, since what you’re asking about is illegal in most states, I didn’t purchase or use anything that shows videos in the view of the driver while the vehicle is in motion.

Has anyone dealt with Onstar losing connection while driving? I’m losing connected services every so often now on my morning commute (four times on a ten minute drive this morning). It’s out for about 30 sec or so then comes back. Never had the issue before but it’s getting to an annoying level...

How big are we talking about here and how long do you hear this after hitting the bump? My thought is that you’re making something move that normally wouldn’t in most cases like a skid plate etc.

I’m on my third battery since Jan. I’m hoping that the camera issue was causing it not something else killing the battery and the camera breaking was just an indicator.

Now I’m a bit confused. I’ve had two dead batteries since this problem surfaced. Am I reading this TSB correctly in that a low voltage can cause the camera problem? I thought I was dealing with fallout from the issue.

I don’t really have an issue with the dealer. It’s that the truck just kept eating cameras over and over.

There is a tech bulletin out for the front camera and programming. I picked mine back up from its fifth visit to replace the camera today and was told it was out. Time will tell if it actually fixes the problem.

Gotta admit. I was hoping for a disco ball when I clicked on this thread. But that’s still cool though.

Month later and it’s broke again. Five times since January. I’m at a loss and am quite annoyed. It’s outside of state lemon law coverage but I’ve at least got the extended warranty. They replaced more than the camera unit last time and it lasted almost a month to the day again.

Costco hasn’t been the cheapest here in years and charges the same price as others in the area around it. Locally Walmart is the cheapest with premium at $3.99 today. It’s down from $4.67 mid last week. I’m thinking it hit $4.83 but I was between fuel stops so I missed that.
