Anyone found one that can fit a 36 gal tank?

Nice truck. I just traded in my 2023 1500 ZR2 for a 2026 2500 ZR2 gasser in white sands. Love the decision. Rides a bit rougher than the 1500, but better than my old 2500 SRW diesel.

So I finally got a Chevy Trax loaner from the dealer and the rep told me "good news, your engine should arrive this week and be installed by the end of the week, two weeks max." That was 4 weeks ago. Haven't heard a peep from them. I understand its the holidays and you can't trust shipping times...

Or you could go with a speedtech, whelen, or code3 emergency light controller. I know you're not looking to run flashers (I do), but my code3 unit has lasted 10 years and counting with no issues.

Mine passed inspection at 21k, and I got another 11k with the new oil before it seized. Going on a month at the dealer and still no word from GM that they'll accept the warranty claim. They did get me a $44/day pos rental, so I'm guessing its going to.

My loaner is a 2025 Chevy Trax from Hertz...and I'm 6'2" 210 lbs. Let me tell you how awesome the drive is.

I wish my dealer was that responsive. Mine's been parked there for over a week and I can't even get the rep on the phone or in person. No idea if they've ordered the engine yet, although I did get put on the waiting list for a loaner - they have 18 and all of them are currently loaned out.

How about a poll for all ZR2 owners that have 50k+ miles on a replacement engine. I'd like to know if the latest engine is worth it.

Having the extra warranty is nice, but if this thing is in the shop for months at a time every 6 months, is it really worth it? I've been a GM guy all my life, but this is really making me second guess that decision. I'm waiting for the 2027 ZR2 to come out - hope this garbage engine makes it...

I bought a used 2023 that PASSED the GM picoscope test, was given 0-40 oil, and sold to me in April. It just died on the road Tuesday. Dealer looked at it today and said engine is frozen and needs to be replaced. I guess changing to a different oil doesn't solve manufacturing defects...Who knew??
