    it's not the current RPM. That's what the needle shows. The yellow lit hash marks do not always coincide with the needle. Take a look at this picture. I was doing 38 mph, my RPM was 1300 (as shown by the needle) and only the 500RPM hash mark was lit yellow.

    I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Idle range..... when driving at 60mph? I do think it corresponds with the amount of work the engine is doing. But I was curious what it is actually indicating.

    Hello from sunny Florida. This is my second Silverado I've owned. The first was a 2022 2500 High Country. I'm much more excited about this Silverado 1500 ZR2 Bison though. What a lil' BRUTE! Looking forward to some fun with this truck.
