AEV 37/38 Tire Clearance Kit

Here's a pretty good video of an install for the AEV large tire kit. These trucks look great. He's also running 38s and a 4 inch lift and spacers.

This kit is biggest waste of money that AEV has sold. Can’t believe what you actually have to do for the cost as you literally have to print out templates to use to know what to cut out. Let me say that again, they don’t send the templates, you have to print them, and they require different sizes of paper. Complete trash for a truck that is $90k new. Either make the truck so it can fit 37s or sell a “kit” that isn’t few hundred dollars to have to cut and paste it at least include the templates with the kit. Lost all sorts of respect for AEV here. I bought it and didn’t even do it, just running 37s. If description at AEV website noted this is actually what it was I would have saved my money. Total waste unless you are truly taking your truck into nasty rock crawling. I have ZR2 HD to be clear. Maybe the AT4X is different.

What tires did you go with?

Toyo AT3 in 37x12.5R20 on AEV stock bison wheels. I wanted a tire with the three peak snowflake rating because where I live it snows a lot and I’m in the mountains.
