New to Chevy 1500 ZR2, came from the Jeep family. ZR2 rides 100% better than the Jeep. Looking at the BFG KO3 vs Wildpeak ATW4. I was wondering if any one has experience with either of these? What would be the largest size the would fit on stock wheels and stock suspension? E rated or C rated on the ZR2 ?

There's some YouTube videos for this exact tire comparison. I think there's only s couple people in here that listed about the Falken tires if you do a search you'll find s lot of information on sizing for stock tires, .

Thank you for the video. Which tires do you run? size? Does the weight difference make that big of difference? Leaning to ATW4 285/70/18, but them seem heavy. Coming from a Jeep that weight would make the jeep a dog.

I run Toyo Open Country RT Trails in 29570R18. They are nearly 35 inch tires and pretty wide. They require minor trimming of bumper and rear wheel well plastic trim.

The weight wont make a noticable difference. My Toyos are 10 ply rated load range E and are very heavy.

They have been very good tires.

Ive got a detailed post with pictures of the trimming steps I have taken.

You might be able to make 285s work on stock wheels. You could ask your tire dealer to mount one up up and see on the front. The rears won't be a problem.

I had BFG KO3s on my 1500 before I sold it. Loved them. I have them on the 2500 now and still love them.
