Just took the new 2500HD ZR2 on a road trip. Found many issues
1) Can’t fill up the gas tank. Something is causing the gas to bubble up at the nozzle, causing the gas pump to shut off every 1/2 gal pumped. I have to pump the gas on it’s absolute slowest speed to get the gas down the tube and into the tank. Anyone else have a hard time getting the gas pump to keep running??
2) Speed limiter of 98. I do emergency road side services. I noticed 2 semis on my trip with brakes smoking/on fire. I sped up to catch them and was limited to 98mph. WTF!? Last truck was a 2021 Trail Boss with 6.2. Bought the Pulsar LT which removed the limiter (among other things). Cannot seem to find a unit like this for the 2025 HD ZR2. Does anyone make a plug in unit like the Pulsar LT to eliminate the stupid speed limiter?
3) Bluetooth issues. My music from my phone sounds like a record skipping when connected through Bluetooth. If connected with the cord, sounds perfect. But Bluetooth is an issue, with calls too. Anybody else have issues with Bluetooth where your music stops for half a second like your phone is about to ring (but doesn’t rung and it keeps doing this every 45-60 seconds)?
4) Extending the mirrors. I showed my brother the power extending mirrors. Hit the button to bring them back in and the passenger side didnt come back in. Had to extend out again and back in before it came back. This has happened to the passenger mirror several times now. Anyone else having this issue?
5) Plugged in my GPS into thr USB port in the dash next to thr HVAC controls. The whole assembly disappeared inside the dash. It wasn’t even secured/attached.
The truck is going back to the dealership for rework obviously. But some heads up on these issues from others would be helpful. Am I alone on these issues or are they common?
