Since I've had the truck for about a year and a half, it always smells awful after sitting out in the rain. I've checked everywhere, no wet carpet/headliner, sunroof drains properly, shark fin sits tight, door seals in great shape and nothing on the back wall under the third brake light. Can't find any moisture anywhere within the cabin.
Today while searching everywhere, I noticed that the door-jam between the door and the front finder has this felt/sound deadener that is completely soaked and has quite a bit of wet leaves collected. Is this normal? Seems like a great place for rust to become an issue in the future if this felt stays damp.
Any other suggestions for potential leak locations or what to do about that damp door jam collection area? Thanks in advance.
