Does anyone have info on installing a cold air intake on a 2025 1500 ZR2? What were results as far as increased gas mileage, power, sound, etc? If anyone has a recommendation of a specific cold air intake, please share. Thanks.

Assuming a V8, there are really no power/performance/MPG gains to be had. You will get more induction noise, which does sound good.

Most gains from CAI only are limited to 1-2hp curve gains, and 3-4hp peak gains. Not a worthwhile endeavor for your stated metrics, but, it does look and sound better and allows a little better access under-hood.

Generally, theres no harm involved, but you won't see an ROI.

Airaid MIT if made for your truck, is about the best of both worlds. Aside from that, pick your poison just avoid KN :P.

The OE intake is a CAI. It just has an indirect airflow path to minimize turbulent air.

Yep, looks like I could've been the next in a long line of folks that would've been duped. Saved me some $. Appreciate it.

If it were me the thought process would be, why would I worry about ROI I just bought a ZR2 so a CAI gives a little more hp, it looks nicer, and sounds better=absolutely installing it!!!!
