I like the stock black 18 inch wheels on the ZR2, but I love the look of a little bit smaller wheel with more tire, so was curious if anyone has ever found Chevy branded 17 inch ZR2 wheels on a meaty tire? Also, since GM allows for one other size tire to comfortably fit, without running into issues, has anyone went with that size, I believe its 295/70/18
Can you reply with pics? Thanks!

I'm running 295s on Method wheels with -12 offset. They make alot of sizes for their wheels. But seems like most OEM wheels are significantly biased with positive offset, so it's harder to run wider tires without rubbing on the UCAs.

295s look great onnthe ZR2 stock height or leveled.

I put 295/70/18 BFGs on a couple months ago and after about 1500 miles no issues. You can see a couple pics in the largest tire thread in Wheels and Tire section.

17" 1st gen Colorado Zr2 and '23 to present Colorado Zr2 wheels will fit Silverado 1500 with hub centric ring. Hub bore on Silverado is 78.1 and the Colorado is 100.3 if memory serves me.

Good morning! I am curious if you all remove the range device when taking truck in for oil changes at the dealer? I typically do but wonder if it is necessary or will cause issues. Thanks!

No, but if they happen to find it needs a software update, that can fry the ECU. I would make sure they know not to do any ECU work or I would pull it to be sure. Mine got fried on the recall PICO test software update.
