Here's a decent interview on the basis of the decision from the EPA Director Lee Zeldin!

This is the don’s biggest accomplishment. It’s nothing but good for the country. From business to consumers. Both win with this.
Yeah, it also affects numerous other industries such as energy and mining. Some of the most difficult power generation projects I worked on were often difficult to advance due to these regulations and the added costs of equipment design, procurement, and construction and ongoing maintenance and compliance.

Until the next president and the next executive order. If Donnie wants it all to stick, or at least make it more difficult to return to the same BS, need to make it a law via the US congress.

Not necessarily, because the Supreme Court has issued a ruling in this particular matter. That makes it more difficult to just swing back the other way. They can do it another way, but not through the bogus Endangerment Finding protocol that let to the bullshit.

Just a question - who's old enough to remember flying into LA or Denver in the late 70's / early 80's? Do you remember how all you could see flying into those cities was a gray/green "smudge" ahead of the aircraft? Now - you can actually see the cities if it is clear outside. How do you think that change occurred? It's not all "bullshit"...............

If were arguing legal merits, then that's what the Supreme Court ruling was about!

If we're arguing bullshit, that's a different set of fucking rules........and nobody's better at it than me.

And what ruling was that? I do remember SCOTUS stating many of the regs pushed by previous administrations required congressional action not just executive orders.
So what ruling did the SCOTUS rule on the A.S.S.?

So go with the BS and tell us how the air in LA was cleaned? Then again, don't need anymore BS; too much floats around anyway. I had enough BS working for the US Gov't; really don't need anymore because, it is just what it is called; BULLSHIT. Definition tell it the best:
  • Foolish, deceitful, or boastful language.
  • Something worthless, deceptive, or insincere.
Not one part of that I need.

However, the A.S.S. was noted not to help the environment. However, those that did, I was all for. And I most likely will not be on this regardless of a BS answer. I joined to learn about the vehicle; and so far; only crying from people with their problems. Not for this guy. I ran out of crying towels many years ago.
Therefore, see ya later to those who were reasonable and answered with direct answers, and goodbye to all the rest.

That sure as fuck sounds like a lot of whining for someone saying others Were crying about shit. Guess you can go back to the trailboss forums and cry more about people in this one.

Listen you little goverment turd, I've spent 35 years in the power generation and power delivery industry navigating around people just like you. That includes developing a host natural gas fired power projects including some in the heart of LA (Manhattan Beach and Fontana) and San Francisco Bay area (Hunters Point, Contra Costa, Colusa) while meeting stringent air permitting requirements. If you want to check my stats, go look at the dockets at the California Energy Commission. You will find all my studies/testimony as well as those of colleagues regarding these projects. All of these included substantial permitting under the EPA Clean Air Act and California Air Resources Board.

It doesn't take a green new scam to deliver more efficient energy with fewer emissions. It does take ingenuity and good designs to deliver. Guess what over regulation can do..... kill projects and investments that improve our lives. That's what all this Obama bullshit did. How do I know that? Why, of course, I've worked on a host of wind and solar projects in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and Wyoming that consume thousands of acres of land/natural resources, kill/displace wildlife, use massive amounts of diesel to ship and construct materials, generate a huge waste stream, and require extensive mining across multiple nations in an attempt to make them viable with batteries when the wind ain't blowing and the sun ain't shining.

So you see, if your gonna bring your whiny little bullshit stats to the discussion, you better pack a lunch pail, cause it's gonna be a while and like everyone else you'll end up frustrated and calling me a big meany, all the while getting a free education.

HAHA. Ive always sounded like this. I hate fucking drama and that is all that shit was. There is so much shit out there showing that the things they have done to "save the planet" really aint done shit but line fucking pockets. Sure there have been improvements just as much as there have been steps backwards but fuck. He bitched about folks over here almost since day one.

Lol......I've held so many public meetings, hearings, and had enough lawyers up my ass, that I'm immune to it.

There were so many projects with opposition like this and agencies holding us up for years it was ridiculous. Many times after so much legal and administrative BS, they were permitted and constructed the same way we presented them in the original applications. Just had to wait and spend millions of dollars on additional studies that benefited nobody.

Yeah there is lining them pockets right. I know we have made advancements in stuff. Engines are, at least somewhat, more efficient. But we have almost stepped back almost as much as forward. Let's save the planet by cutting emissions but chocking out the engines to burn more fuel to pollute more in the long run. Our 6.6L gas engines pollute just as much as a 1980 5.7L. How is that for advancement lol. Also let's also make everything shitty as hell to break quicker so we can sell more. It's not like anyone in power is really worried about saving anything. It's about the appearance and the money they can get from it. Never let a good crisis go to waste. They have drug this one out for a while.

Yep, if you look at the recent statements from Ford, it tells a damning story about making poor investments in unproven and unmarketable products that consumers won't buy. All because you're trying to please some shitty politicians and government that is on the take.

Ford lost $5 billion last year and will do the same this year on these horrible EV investments and somehow the CEO still has a job!

Those billions could have been poured into small scale nuclear generators and really had a measurable positive impact on the environment.

I’ll start listening to any government party when THEY abide by the same emission standards across the government/ military. Until then, it’s not even a debate to me…just do as we say, not necessarily as we do.
