What do y’all do to touch up the black front bumper from the small rock chips?
Anyone have any secrets to touch them up? A local detailer told me that trying to touch them up, would only make those areas stick out even more, and to not do anything with them, and then once it gets too bad, just have the front bumper re-done, but that sounds wild to me, given all the technology and products today.

I've used plenty of touch up paint on my black paint. If you do it with just a minimal amount of paint on each dab, you can get it to look ok. You can still see the touch up spots, but its a helluva lot better than looking at pits and white primer or metal. The other advantage is it protects the metal from corrosion which can lead to more issues.

I just go over a shelf at such an angle it runs into the dirt and all the spots where it rips and chips off paint, so mine just looks dirty.....🤣🤣🤣

If you just don't wash it very often the bugs and dirt camouflage any rock chips, lol. Pretty much impossible to touch up glossy black paint and not be able to tell.

That's why I like Line X on the lower bits.
