About a month ago I did the 6.2L recall on the ZR2. When I left the dealer after the ECU reflash and removal of the Range DFM/AutoStop module, I noticed the auto stop feature was not functional the first few stops. I cycled the A button and the DIC indicated off and then on again. Still didn't work right away, but then did a couple times before I got home. I then put the Range module back in so I didn't track it anymore.

Today I picked up the Tahoe after the 6.2L recall ECU flash and once again the auto stop feature did not activate, even after I cycled the A button. I didn't put the Range module back in yet, so I'll see if it does it when my wife drives it tomorrow.

Anyway, I wonder if the ecu flash deactivated the auto stop. As for the DFM, it may have been working some on the ZR2, but I was in stop and go traffic so hard to say. The Tahoe is so quiet you cannot tell when the DFM actually kicks in.

Truck wasn’t commanding the AC compressor was it? That will override SS.
I don't know for sure, but it wasn't very hot yesterday morning. I'm sure the air was running some. I kind of forgot how it works since I have had the Range module in them.for a while.

Very interesting. After reading this Friday. I turned off the HVAC system when driving around all weekend, Auto Stop did not function a single time. The toggle switch light is still on, so it’s active. I’m thinking there is a possibility that the ECU flash eliminated it?

My wife told me it did come on when she drove it last. She also not3d a lotnof the memory functions were not working correctly. That did not happen on mine and i thoughtbthat wad all BCM related, but who knows.

We have had a lot of rain and below normal temperatures. So i thin it had been eraditic and not functioning quite the same.

Oh well, the Range monduke is back in as of this morning, so I wont worry about it anymore.

Thats what i was thinking, but I'm not sure it's happening just yet.
100%...not sure we'll really know when they make that update or if they do. What you described would lead one to believe that it's in the update...time will tell as others get it to and we see what they experience.

I wonder if they would do an OTA update. That would be interesting.

Didn't the OTA updates cause the entire vehicle to become stuck?
They better NEED TO IMPROVE THEIR SOFTWARE.

From what I found playing around with it the short time I had to, it seemed to only continue to run if it was setting auto/lo. I remember if I chose anything other than Auto it would automatically cycle off but the air fan would continue to run and you could feel the difference in the temperature immediately.
