Mud flaps

This is my first post. I just purchased a 2025 2500 zr2. Looking to get some Dura flap mudflaps, and was wondering what the consensus is on the length. For those of you who have them, what length did you get? They have a short, standard, and long. I live on a gravel road, so I was wanting to protect the side of my truck and obviously whatever I’m trailering. This thing throws rock like crazy.

I don’t want them to hang down too far, but then I don’t want to lose protection either. I wonder if the standard length gives adequate protection. It is bone stock.

I also have a 2009 Chevrolet Duramax that I purchased brand new. It is has been A very good truck, it has about 245,000 miles on it and the only thing I’ve really done is put front bearings in it. I hope this new truck will be the same

This truck sits high just the same as my 6 inch lifted Duramax. You'll need at least the standard ones, but may need the long. Might want to get one of each and make a gametime decision and return the others.

Can't guarantee anything with reliability nowadays. There is plenty to be desired in terms of quality control on these new rigs for the money you spend. Hopefully it'll be good, but you aren't gonna see the durability of the 2005-2018 rigs.

You might want to just call him. Super nice guy. When I got my HD they didn't officially have them out for a ZR2 yet. I placed an order and just put in the notes it was for a ZR2. He ended up calling me and going over everything with me. Actually gave me a discount also if I would send him some photo's for him to use. Mine are 10" long on the front and 13" long on the rear. I'm on stock tires and rims. They have worked great. I'm on gravel all the time and I pull several trailers. Everything from a fiberglass ski boat to a camper. I haven't had any rock chips show up on anything.

Yeah the stock tires are brutal when it comes to rocks. I don't normally run mud flaps, But this truck throws rocks constantly. I pretty much constantly have rocks stuck in my treads. You can still hear them hitting the flaps lol. But it's much quieter and you won't be slinging rocks at anything behind you.

Hey are you happy with the standard length? I just ordered a zr2 HD and am currently looking at mudflaps to order.

I ended up buying from these guys. Not sure if the price will switch to USD or if there’s tariffs on them.
Couple guys from work have them and they look pretty good.

Finding Silverado 1500 ZR2 specific flaps is a pain. We developed these to fit the aggressive factory flares of the 22-26 1500 ZR2 perfectly. No drilling required, and they clear 33s/35s with no issues. Here is the install process on a Silverado 1500 ZR2.

That doesn't look like an HD truck. The HDs have a 3 inch drop on the we bottom rear of the wheel well. Do you have pictures of them on the HD?

You caught us red-handed, and you are 100% correct!

We completely messed up here. Our marketing team mistakenly used media of our standard ZR2 (1500/Colorado), thinking it would fit the 2500 HD ZR2. We now realize that 3-inch drop contour makes them completely incompatible, and we currently do not make a version for the HD models.

We have immediately corrected our listings to prevent other HD owners from ordering the wrong part. You saved us and future customers a ton of headaches, and we sincerely appreciate you keeping us honest!
