Overhead Towers w/ Tonneau Covers

Good morning! I did some digging around and have not come up with many solutions other than the Yakima HD Towers that are compatible with the roll n lock tonneau cover w/rail system. I am looking to find something that is bit more reasonable price wise as $900-$1,200 for towers only seems a little high. Looking to get the towers to transport my SUP to the lake and beach here in NC. Does anyone have any recommendations or insights on what I could look into without having to go with the Yakima as I know they are the best option.?

I can only give my input as I have the Yakima towers and such. I'm glad I went with them, they're very sturdy. I checked into other towers and they just didn't look right. I found some that were squared off, not angled in like the Yakima but wasn't sold on them. Check on Realtruck for the Go Rhino ones I think. Also Adarac. I found some used Yakimas for decent prices but you have search around. Good luck

You bet. I milled around for a while trying to figure a mount for the towers that didn’t involve the rails on top of the bed, but couldn’t get it done. Just bit the weenie and mounted the rail kit. Also, if I remember right, the bed rails are not perfectly parallel so watch that. I went with the low towers not adjustable but you may need the higher ones to go over the cab with your cargo.

I added the platform since I switch between rooftop tent and gear only.

I also have Yakima HD on mine lol. I looked around a lot. I've had the same rack on a few different trucks. They are worth the price. The cheaper ones don't look as good or don't have the same adjustability. I bought mine 4-5 years ago and it was a bit cheaper then they are now. If you find a cheaper better option let us know.
