On the way home from work, I got ALL of the dash lights on. Brakes, stabiltrak, steering lock, ABS, check engine, speed limited to 43 MPH, (I can tell the power brakes went out), etc. Can someone steer me in the right direction before I call the dealership and hope for the best? It's late, I've had a long day and will check this thread ay 6:00 AM CST. 2024 with 16,000 on the clock. I checked for an OTA update yesterday and nothing was pending.

I just went outside and started it up. It is halfway through an OTA update but the update is all radio/infotainment related. The check engine light is the only one on and the power brakes are working correctly.

Thank you peeps...

If battery test's out fine. Have them check ground straps from engine to body for corrosion and verify all battery terminal and fuses in battery fuse box are tight and secure. Had similar symptoms and that was the correction provided by dealership. Replaced ground straps due to corrosion, part # 85773931 & 85110481.

Thanks peeps. This morning it starts/runs fine but the CEL light is on and I got an "Engine and transmission system, ABS system require your attention" on my phone app. Last night I got a phone app notification that the brake pads were worn and unsafe notification. That notification is now gone and the brake pad life on the DIC is 90 and 92%.

FML, what would I give for a new truck with a distributor, carburetor and no ABS.

Do you know where the ground straps are located on the truck? I'm gonna take a look at them today.

Mine has done that a few times. It is battery related. I replaced batteries with AGM's when one of the factory regular lead acid floods was leaking. The dead battery issue and the lights and dashboard lighting up as a result (does it with the AGM's as well) is associated with battery drain due to my dash camera and the amplifier on my weBoost Drive Reach OTR Cell Phone Booster. My 2500 sits for a week or 2 at most and this parasitic drain was causing my dead batteries issue. The cell booster amplifier was hot all of the time as was the camera and after it was tied to a ignition on only source no more issues.

Hope this helps some.....

There's one right on the front quarter panel next to your battery. There may be others.

I think you had a failed OTA update. Clear the codes and see if they come back.

The check engine light was on and the update was still in progress. I went to the coffee shop this morning and when I came out, the check engine light was off and all was good. For now anyway….
