I'm waiting on my Summit White to be delivered on 11/19. Super excited because this is my first new truck I've bought in 15 years. I still have a 2000 Ford XLT (runs greats, looks like hell) and I bought a 2008 Tacoma (gave it to my son. runs great, doesn't look like hell...yet). Got to be honest that I'm a little concerned over the paint especially since I'm getting white. But thinking (and hoping) this truck will last a while. I keep my vehicles for a while (I also own a 2002 S2000 and a 2016 Sorento). I'm a Maintenance freak/addict/extremist.

I took delivery on Monday after waiting 7 months. The hood is starting to do its thing, but I'm not worried as I will have it fixed as soon as GM has a solution. I'm the same as the poster above. First new car since 2005. Traded in my Tacoma and I couldn't be happier.

Bought a 22 Sand Dune Metallic Oct 14. Have not noticed any paint issues and honestly haven’t had a single problem with it. 800 miles in and running like a champ.
I watched this guy before I bought my ZR2. As much as I understand where he is coming from, I don’t bother to listen very much. He got a bad truck. Doesn’t mean they’re all bad. I’ve had my truck for 1000k miles now and love it.

my white one just blew up motor is on back order they say 18 months the motor has 3500 miles on it
