Tire Size Change Recalibration

Good Morning,


Has anyone had the dealer recalibrate the speedometer after installing larger size tires? If so, how much did they charge you.

I ask because extended warranties discuss lift and tire size changes in their contracts.

Before any snide comments, yes, I searched the Forum and did not see what I am looking for. LOL

I asked my local dealership once and they said they were not allowed to change anything. Not sure if they were just saying it or what though.

You can buy a tuning package now that unlocks the ECM and you can adjust those parameters too.
