Greetings from Minnesota. I have been looking at the Trail Boss for a while now, stumbled across the ZR2 and checked out these forums...and ended up pulling the trigger. I have a habit of customizing vehicles the day I get them home, and so far this one has been no exception. I had a lot of fun tinkering on my frontier:

...then reluctantly I needed to upsize my rig and went for the Silverado:

...but then I decided it was time to spoil myself a bit. I know there is a...love...on these forums for the blue team, but I have to throw my hat in with them. I have been building blacked out trucks with blue accents for too long, I needed a little more color:

As for the customization, I already am guilty of it with this one. I already have a pile of parts sitting in the stall next to the truck awaiting installation. Luckily, I am also adamant about documenting my journey, so I am sure I will pop up in the build thread shortly. In the meantime, I look forward to getting to know ya'll and stealing only the best of ideas off of you.

Those trucks look good! Get the DFM/auto start module from Range or someone has one listed for sale in the classifieds threads.

If you like to spend money, check out the bumper options and Peak Suspension level kits so you can get bigger tires or wheel offsets to really change the look of these rigs!

I am still going back and forth on the wheels, both of my last two I went with sizing them up, but for now I am going with the Bora spacers. I figure I will see how I feel after those as to whether I take it that extra step. Spoiler...I usually end up taking the extra step.

I had the hidden winch on both of the last trucks, tucked behind the front plate, but I have been admiring the bumper options available for this one...I may need to let my card cool down a bit before I bite into that...

Out of curiosity, how long do the build threads typically take for approval? I put the start of one together last night but now I don't see it even in pending status. I'm assuming like other forums they need admin approval to post?

Not aware of any approval requirements for anything posted here.

Strange. I posted by parts list/build last night and it was sitting at the top in that forum with a "pending" status, but now I don't even see it sitting there. I might have to try again this evening. I know the Nissan forums I was on didn't have any approval to the builds, but the Silverado one did. Could just be that I was too tired to pay attention. It happens.

Interesting! I have had some wierd things happen with some posts struggling to activate and had to redo them. Especially with pictures and videos. Might just be a glitch. You can add Chorizo, I think he runs the joint.
