If it were me the thought process would be, why would I worry about ROI I just bought a ZR2 so a CAI gives a little more hp, it looks nicer, and sounds better=absolutely installing it!!!!

I got my 22 ZR2 engine replaced (crank bearing) and immediately ran the schaeffer 0-40w and I’m getting 3 mpg better than the bad motor ever got
