It also won’t remote start if the low fuel light is on. If this were my wife’s vehicle, remote start would never work because of this.

Painted. I asked the dealership to pull up both part numbers listed in this thread and they said that both were chrome so I painted it.

Wow. I was almost ready to pull the trigger on 1.5” spacers over 1.25” because I thought there was no cutting required on the bolts and no trimming required for rubbing. Which brand spacers did you get?

Added the wireless keypad to unlock the doors. Also added a stubby antenna and replaced the chrome 6.2 emblems with red and black ones. It’s the little things.

Yep. Those are the two wires I tapped. Not super professional but it’s behind the seat so I’ll never see it and it works.

Added a kicker hideaway. Bought this thing several years back. This is the third truck I’ve had it in. Always makes a big difference over stock system.

Used an empty spot in the passenger side fuse box for remote turn on. Mounted my bass control knob in the slot left of the shifter. No drilling required to get the wire in there. Pretty happy with the sound now. Big difference from stock but not stupid loud.

Installing a kicker hideaway today. I searched pretty extensively and haven’t found a great video on this particular install. Looks like the yellow and yellow/black are the front speaker wires I need to tap into but haven’t seen a good wire for remote turn on. Anyone remember what they tapped...

First mod. Picked up a GM Performance exhaust (borla touring) on marketplace for a great price. Truck no longer sounds like a minivan.
