2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 Pricing Uncovered

Here's my conversation yesterday with my salesman trying to get me to drop another $100k cash on a "newer" GM shitbox.

Classic salesman "the newer ones have been greatly improved". Me, "really cause here's all the stuff wrong with my shifters". Salesman,........."radio silence".

This MFer is gonna be sorry he sent this to me. He'll need rehab when I'm through with him.

I'm at the dealer once again trying to get my fucking tonneau cover replaced.

i have to say it... those new 2025 RAM 2500/3500 with the new Cummins and ZF 8 speed tranny's are getting a ton of amazing reviews. I'm going to let a model year pass and take a much closer look at them next go around. I typically only keep my trucks 2 years, give or take, and next July will be 2 years. I was going to wait and see if GM updates the 2500 for 2028 after the 2027 1500 redesign but not sure now. I have a whopping 7,000 miles on her after year 1 which is normal for me since I work from home. I may have to find something else to burn my $9,000+ dollars of GM Reward points on for a family member.

They sent a young guy over there to talk to me, so I went easy on him. He was a nice guy and I hope he's successful. I did tell him about my QC concerns and said that would factor into my future purchasing decisions.

It's nice that finally a GM exec acknowledged their QC was costing them $$$ and future customers. Maybe they can get it squared.

I usually keep stuff a while, so I'm in no hurry anyway. I have about 25k combined on my 1500 and 2500HD, so haven't logged many miles in 5 years. Would like to see what happens in next couple years with QC. I've always liked their styling best and would stick with them if they get their act together.

I always like my Rams...Had a 2018 and a 2023. I would own another, but my local dealer absolutely SUCKS. I buy them elsewhere, but I have to visit those clowns for service. It's really the reason I own a Chevy...Better dealer experience in my area.
