2026 Chevy Silverado EV Trail Boss Officially Debuts

I feel the same way. However, when EV battery technology is at a different level, in say 2030+, I may reconsider. Now, I still do not believe that EVs are ready for prime time...yet and resale value sucks!

So many features they need to implement on the rest of the range- factory aux switches, being able to extend the bed into the cab, fit 35s stock.

Will say - An EV doesn't suit me, but if I was to get one this seems light years better than any other offering in terms of price and specs.
Might have to give one a test drive

Man, best thing to come off the line in a while! I'd pay twice what they are asking, and I'll take a reduction in range. 🤘

Mary Barra Bad Bearings Barra is phasing out ICEs. She's releasesd even more EV models this year and announced others. As long as she's in charge, you'll drive what she says you'll drive and like it.

I’ll drive something old then. B freaking S if I buy one. As long as they produce gas, I will drive an ICE vehicle. “You’ll have to pry it from my cold dead hands!” lol

As long as I can place an order for a CT5 V (non blackwing as I’m a poor and BW’s get no Employee Pricing) to replace our Fusion the last year they are made Im good. I can at least kick the can down the road some years.

I know this is a GM Forum, but the Malibu was always vaginal discharge.

GM should come out with a diesel electric hybrid. They own Isuzu who makes the Duramax 6.6L and 3.0L motors. Isuzu makes a metric shit ton of small commercial diesel motors for all kinds of reliable equipment and delivery vans worldwide They could make a fortune if they married up a diesel and electric truck. You'd get the power of electric and the extended range and reliability of the diesel to get you down the road 500 miles.
