Feels like they are taking small steps to make us feel comfortable in an EV. There is plenty of console space. What are we freeing up space for, another cup holder? And great, a larger screen with software locked down not letting us do anything cool with apps, mobile integration and streaming. Damn, all their success makes me negative.

This "new feature" was standard equipment on trucks for 8 decades until some homo on the Covid design team decided to put a console shift in and buttons on the dash of the Tahoe.
