2027 Silverado Sunroof: Do We See A Large Dual-Pane Sunroof?

Interesting. But I'm not gonna run down to the bar and break this facinating news to all my buddies....I think all they wanna know is what the whole package looks like, engine options, etc.

But thank you for posting it. I suppose SOMEONE is worried about the new sunroof. But...I bet it'll leak.

I prefer not to have a sunroof. One less thing that’s gonna leak
When I had my 2023 ZR2, I had a major sunroof leak. They had to rip out the entire headliner and install a new metal support system for the sunroof since it cracked and was allowing water intrusion. Unfortunately, they scraped up my dash in the process of getting it out and F*up the headliner too. I made them fix/replace both, which they agreed to and then traded her in for my 2500HD not long afterwards. What sucks is that the tech knew what he did but never mentioned it to leadership like I would never have noticed it when picking it up. It's very sad that no one appears to give a $hit today when they build or fix something

I had a leak too, but mine was possible self induced. The drain tube coming through the front of the fire wall came loose and it drained behind my emergency brake. I think I may have loosened it pulling accessory wires through the firewall tho. So won't blame anyone.

When I was building my 2023 out I opted OUT of the sunroof and my salesman must've asked 3 to 4 times if I was sure about that. Had nothing to do with saving money. Every single car I have had that had a sunroof leaked at some point, and the only reason they were ever opened is because my kids wanted it open. Can't say I've missed not having one a single I've owned my truck. They think the powered back window is cooler anyway!!!!

Normally the ZR2 HD does not come with a sunroof. Its an option. When I started the search for my truck I specifically was looking for one without a sunroof. The song and dance I received from every dealer I spoke with was incredible. One said it would take 4 months to get one without a sunroof and even then GM might not build it, another said that's the way they all come and there's not much we can do about it etc. I threw the bullshit flag on all of them and found one on my own. I saw it online and immediately called the dealership, which was three hours from my home, put money down and said I'm coming to get it tomorrow! Really happy with my truck just how i wanted it, no sunroof.

Fk it, I don’t want a pano, I want a convertible ZR2
