I just received my 6.2 l recall letter stating that I need to come in and get my vehicle inspected and also mentioning the 150,000 mile warranty for the engine.

22' Silverado ZR2 and got my second letter this past weekend as well. Going to get the test/inspection done on the 22nd or whenever I get it back from getting the torque converter installed. LOL.

I got the same letter today. Figure I’ll wait another 500 miles when I’m due for new oil. I’m still waiting to hear from someone who actually fails the pico scope. 🤣
Well, I will keep you all posted. I am scheduled to take mine in this coming week for the dreaded Pico test. My 23 just turned 5000mi. and I have kept the oil changes ahead of schedule and have already made the switched over to the 40wt oil.

That's what I did I drove about another thousand miles until my oil change was due 😁🤣🤣🤣
Heck, I don't blame you. If Chevrolet is looking for metal in the old oil and filter I'm going to wait until I reach the end of my 5,000 mile oil change interval. If the bearings are failing, I want to make sure there's as much crap in the oil as possible.

Good Point

Just got my recall letter for my 23. Now I so glad I traded it in for a very good amount and bought it's baby brother - 24 ZR2 Bison.

well my POS passed the Pico test but was denied the extended warranty. The service advisor (Ozark Chevrolet, Mo.) told me that the only ones to get the extended is the 2.7ltr diesel and it only gets 100,000mi . Looks like GM is on the take again.
