6.2 Recall Letter

Had mine done yesterday. Took roughly 5hrs before I got a call saying it was ready. Engine and ecu both handled. I passed. Manager said two have failed so far down here in south MS. One came in on a flatbed and the other was making a loud clunking noise when dropped off. So, not necessarily found during recall just failed engines. Crazy part was dealership I bought the truck from called and said they needed to address the recall and it would only be an hour. My local dealership, where I get all my work done, said standard 3-4 maybe a little longer. I told first lady she better check her times. I'd be pissed sitting there for a one hour job and it takes 5. Good news is I was due for an oil change so got that one done for free!

My '22 passed the PICO test, but the ECU update fried the computer. I had told my SA about the Range device, he thought that might have done it. They removed it when the replaced the ECU, and he made sure the tech didn't record any mention of it being there just in case.... Amazing what a bottle of Makers Mark does to grease the wheels!!
