Let's be honest, if you're a GM owner, especially with a 6.2 L87, we've been going through it. but this gave me a little context to the reality that all the major manufacturers have been laden with massive recalls. What times we live in.

I own both Ford and Chevy trucks, what I will say is that Ford is not shying away or denying anything these days when it comes to firing off their recalls. They’re facing it head on for what it’s worth.

Unlike some manufactures that claim the issue only happens when you face the east, fart three times, use the recommended oil in September, drive between 53-71 mph, with ambient temperature of 91.3F, with a headwind, while using Apple CarPlay listening to the Doobie Brothers… yet has a fail rate in double digit percentages.

American auto manufacturing manufacturers were once industy leaders building innovative and lasting vehicles that improved our lives and productivity. Now they are just for profit Wall Street first cash machines for the rich.

You can say the same thing for heavy equipment and agricultural manufacturing. Its all about the cash and less about the end user. The more gimmicks they include the more you're locked in. $1 million dollars so you can pull your combine out to harvest your crops for 2 weeks per year. Then pay John Deere $10k per year to service them cause they are locked down and the average farmer can't even work on them.

They've overcomplicated them, so they can wring out more money on each sale.

I'm looking at new UTV, they want $40-50k for them be 'cause they are loaded with gimmicks just like vehicles. You don't need something that can run 90 mph with a supercharger or dual turbos and has a full infotainment system, but thats what they are building.......and you might get a $10k transmission problem once you buy it.......yee haw!

I was just talking to the Mrs about this exact thing last night over whiskey. Looks like it’s time for me to grab an old dent side and just enjoy the fact that it just runs with the old school trouble shooting list that only consists of fuel, air, and spark.

I raise hell about a lot of things, but the thing I'm most pissed about is I don't have dipstick or a drain plug on my transmission to maintain it..........just trust it's good to go.....LMFAO.
