Yes, I had this kit installed on my Bison for cheap insurance. A little over 600 bucks for install. I've had it in for about 10k miles and have had zero issues. I recommend it to anyone. I don't want my truck sitting at the dealer for weeks or months if I was to have a failure in the transmission.

Any change in how it shifts, feels, etc? Shifts still “cadillac soft”, or are they more firm than stock?

I wish mine shifted a more firmly. A better (more efficient) torque converter and valve body/shift kit would be a welcome change for me.

I think it shifts a bit more firm, but still smooth. I wish I could be more detailed or objective, but it is a seat of the pants scale I'm going off of. I absolutely do not regret the upgrade one bit. I recommend it, if for nothing more than peace of mind.
