So the switches for my front and rear light bar are mounted right underneath the four-wheel drive control circles. My wife is extremely short about 5'1 and needs The seat closer......WELLLLL she has hit the light switch on the way out and left the light on four times in less than 3 weeks and killed the battery each time.
I LOVE MY WIFE DEARLY FOR 26 YRS now....
I got to the point where I duct taped them down, so she could not accidentally bump them until I could put a new battery in it.
At first it ran on jumpstarts until it just was completely dead.
The thing went nuts and through every kind of code I could ever imagine posting......
from transmission, to rear brake, to front turn signal, to power steering, to unable to shift soon, sunroof won't work, air conditioner fan won't function until you drive for a bit and so more.....
THANK GOD
she did not fry my switch box and all the lighting in that system and that my alternator is good!!!
Went to a different dealership and purchased a OEM battery of 850cc. RUN SO MUCH BETTER NOW!
So.... if any of you fellas have battery issues in the future and are consecutively getting crazy codes.... Check your battery system?
Because once the battery goes the truck goes nuts with codes
