Blew Up Today

Moving some equipment and had a solid stainless steel plate table slide off a moving dolly and crush several fingers. Broken fingertips and degloved half of two fingers. Surgery to repair with a full recovery expected. Won’t be able to ride for a couple months.
That sucks! Sounds like it hurts like hell. Even though we're talking about riding, I can't ride at the moment either. Just had knee surgery 2 weeks ago. I had a piece of cartilage that was torn in half and my ACL is torn off the bone completely. Just now starting to walk again and starting physically therapy on Monday. But, I'm on my way to recovery and hope you recover soon as well.

That is brutal! Glad you have a good prognosis and are on the mend!

I've torqued my knees and an ankle a couple times the last several months. Not even sure how it happened, but they just started getting sore and then they seemed to recover.......until I stepped off a stop stool coming out of the boat the other day and felt my ankle again, then over compensated and felt my knee again...........I'm not sure how many more chances I get, but I'm still trying to tear shit up.

Yeah, as we get older, our knees are gonna give us problems. There's no way of getting around it. We have to walk, right? I guess the only thing we can do is try to take care of ourselves the best we can.

As far as my knee goes, this was my 3rd surgery on this knee over the past 20 years. I'm just hoping it holds up enough that I don't need a total knee replacement.

Easy now..........it was just the tire on the boat trailer. I was coming off the lake and about halfway home and I hear a noise and by the time I made it down the road to a safe pull off the tire was gone. Tires been on there several years, but low miles. They go bad just sitting around, the same as running them hard.

What a CF though, I had taken all my tools out of my truck when I had it at the dealer last week. Forgot to put them back in, so I had nothing to work with. I haven't done stoopid shit like that since the last time. Had to call my wife to bring out my chase truck with some hardware.

I use L1-L6 for towing with the 1500 and it's much better towing if you keep it between 2000-3000 rpms, especially with small grade changes. They also tow better with 0w20 oil!

Lots of bass zipping around, but they didn't like what we were throwing.
Yep....NEVER FAILS .....As soon as you take all the tools out😂

Just had my second one replaced 5 days before Christmas... not my idea of a Christmas vacation but I ripped the last bit of meniscus off in November and that was all she wrote. You're right about knees giving you problems as you age, especially if you're abuse them when you're younger (I played football when I was younger, and then refereed soccer at the college level as a FIFA ref for about 15 years)... plenty of abuse there!

I sold my motorcycles (Kawasaki ZX-14R and a Harley Davidson V-Rod) a few years ago, not really because of my knees but because of all the idiots in Louisville that can't drive without talking/texting on their phones...

Praying for full recovery 🙏

I love to ride, but like many people say...too many idiots not paying attention while behind the wheel. I got 9 screws and 2 plates last time I rode. Sold my bike afterwards and won't ride in this city (Las Vegas) again

Thanks to you guys for the good wishes. Things are going pretty good with my knee so far. Starting back to work this coming Monday. I operate heavy equipment, so, no real stress on my knee. That's why I'm going back to work so soon. All I have to do is climb up into the machine and basically sit there.
