Just wondering if anyone has experienced any upper cylinder lack of lubrication issues with their L5P 6.6L Duramax engines? See Bulletins 26-NA-251 and PIP-6131. I was supposed to go pick up a new 2026 Silverado 2500 HD ZR2 today but after discovering these bulletins last night I am too skeptical to go through with the deal! Back to square one! Doesn't matter anymore if the beast will be too tall for the garage anymore with these potential issues.

After discovering these bulletins and now knowing that I could be facing a potential catastrophic engine failure being that this new track was on the assembly line in between the 2 bulletins makes me too weary. The only corrective measure is to replace both the engine and Turbos. NOTE: RECENTLY I HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO IMMATURE YOUTHS WASTING MY TIME WITH IMMATURE NONSENSE. KEEP YOUR JOKES TO YOURSELF FOR YOU WILL BE REPORTED AND IGNORED. SERIOUS PEOPLE ONLY PLEASE. I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT THE 3 JOKERS WHO LEFT ME MESSAGES COULDNT EVEN AFFORD A RUSTY TRICYCLE BY THE LOOKS OF THEIR FACIAL IMAGES.

From your two posts, it appears you have already made your decision, even if you are asking if anyone has experienced this problem. If someone has experienced this problem it appears they would have had their engine replaced.

Therefore, if you are this extremely worried about purchasing this vehicle you will continue to worry long after the purchase. Therefore I would advise you don't purchase the vehicle and move on. In my opinion, life is too short to worry about an engine in a vehicle if you can avoid it by moving on to another vehicle.

And no, this is not a joke and it is something I would do if I was going to worry about it as much as it appears you are. And yes, I can afford a rusty bike; if I ever wanted a rusty bike.

If this is not what you wanted to hear; I can appreciate that; however, this is an open forum and I believe if you post , I can post an answer.

I appreciate your feedback. At least you had something intelligent to say. I was talking about comments that were total nonsense. Your right this is an open forum but if someone wants to be a clown they should join the circus.
