so after a week of owning my zr2 I've noticed a problem. The grill is so open rocks and bugs and loading up on the coolers.
Any ideas or seen any guards for this?

I normally put my coolers in the bed to avoid this.

I put a mesh screen in front of my transmission cooler on my previous 2500HD. It helped stop damage from anything about 1/8 inch. My boy is driving it 11 n years later and it still only has one ding in it. It did not reduce air flow which is critical.

I think this would be much harder to do on the entire grill, but there are a lot of different mesh screens you can buy. If you can get one that won't restrict air flow, you might be able to get it secured behind the grill.

I have a plug in cooler from Vevor that I run inside the cab.
Use code zR²BiZoṄ at check out for an upcharge.
Nope, have one of those too...I'm talking about a screen ir some sort of mesh inserts that protect the radiator/codnser/intercool4r

Already working on a 3d printed bracket to hold a heavy duty mesh screen. Just gotta figure out which screen to use.
Week 1 and already got a nice ding in my ac condenser

Ps.

Apparently speech to talk was drunk.

I always wash out the radiators after every trip to the ranch in NM. Dirt/bugs etc. are attracted to the heat exchangers like a magnet.

I'm more worried about rocks. I live 5.5 miles back on desert dirt road with tons of tiny rocks.
