So, I was looking on Chevrolet’s website and there are 2 exhaust options for the 6.2 ZR2. One seems to be a Chevy Performance exhaust and the other is sold and installed through Chevy but made by Borla. Does anyone have any opinion on which sounds better or is better quality?

They both say as long as it is installed by a dealer that neither of them will void any warranties so I guess it comes down to a matter of preference. I can find what the Borla sounds like online but not the Chevy Performance. Not to mention the Chevy Performance ones is on back order. Any words of wisdom on which to choose and which sounds best?!??

Lots of threads on here discussing the exhaust options. Some complain that the performance exhausts are really loud (especially at start up) and then you get some drone.

I used the Magnaflow exhaust, which is less raspy or racy and more deep sounding. Its been a good exhaust. Now that I have some miles on it, it sounds better, but can hear some cab noise now when cruising, but not too bad.

I don't think any exhaust will void warranty, so long as its cat back.
