Finally got from Amazon my exhaust tips and after installing them I wasn't convinced that the fasteners they use would hold too well under off roading conditions and I would hate to loose 50.00 dollars somewhere down the road. So, I decide to implement my own insurance policy on my tips by securing them with a 1/4 bolt and nut. As you can see from my images. after I made sure the tips were aligned perfectly, I drilled a 1/4 hole through the tips and the exhaust pipe and ran a 1/4 bolt with washers and lock washers and secured them that way. As you can see, I added a nut between the tip and the exhaust pipe to take up that gap which is around 1/4 inch. You could also stack 4 or 5 washers and fill the gap that way. I went ahead and tighten that 1/4 inch bolt, nut and lock washer pretty securely. Now I know those tips aren't going nowhere.
