MBRP 6" Black Exhaust Tip

Just installed my 6" black tip to match my Midnight Edition truck. Fits like a glove and I have the tip flush with the rear bumper. Hope the finish holds up well or I'll just spray it down the road if needed. Very happy with the look now as that huge stainless metal 5" pipe just wasn't cutting it for me against an all black truck.

Looks good! I want a black tip but want mine angled out to the side more. The kits available mostly replace from the DPF back and hear several guys have had check engine lights after doing that on ‘24’s. Trying to be patient hoping someone resolves this sooner than later, but may end up get a shop to cut mine off just after the “cone” part and welding in an angled piece, adding a tip like yours and then just painting the section over the axle.

You should paint the pipe with some VHT matte black. I painted mine up and over the axle so it wasn't as visible.

Make sure you have that venturi in place if you modify it. It needs cooler air during regens or the exhaust tip gets very hot.

That MBRP Exhaust tip looks really good on the diesels. I know its smaller but does Anyone know the diameter of the Gassers stock tailpipe??
