Fuel Mileage post L87 recall

It's going on 3 weeks since I took my 22 ZR2 in for the L87 recall. My truck passed the Pico test and I got the new 0W-40 oil change (free of course).
Has anyone noticed any reduction in fuel mileage since going to the higher viscosity oil? I've been on 2 300 +/- round trips since
the recall and have averaged 17.5 - 18.1 mpg's. I haven't noticed any degradation in mileage with the new oil. I remember a thread about a class action lawsuit regarding
poorer mileage with the new oil. Just wondering what others are experiencing. I had the fuel injectors and the throttle body treatment/service. It does seem a little peppier.
Maybe that's part of it.

I don't think there would be an noticeable change in real world conditions with weather and terrain and driving habits in play. These fuel mileage standards are calculated and proven on a dyno. You'd have to have 100% control over the inputs to even do a comparison.

Always good to clean the fuel system. It will certainly optimize fuel consumption and performance.

Haven't noticed any difference here other than it coincided with summer and running the AC on lol.

I have gained 3 -4 mpg with the 0w-40 oil. Makes sense. Thicker oil provides better lubrication. Run nothing but super unleaded from day one. Regular unleaded will definitely give you lower mpg.

Same here 93 only. I’m seeing 1-2 mpg gains since the oil switch. Unless they Gerry rigged the update to make the drive summary show better numbers.
