GM CEO Mary Barra Sells 40 Percent Of Her Shares

I got to see a few pics of one of our local collector’s warehouse. One wall display contained enough MG42s to outfit a weapons platoon and then the next wall had enough M60s to give them choices. Of course you had to walk past the Panther and some lil British scout car to get a good photo. I spied the barrel of a Dillion mini-gun peeking in from the right side of one of the photos. The crazy thing is that I know that’s only scratching the surface. Somewhere in the is the only function German 88mm howitzer in the country also.

Back to the captain jumping overboard, I’m curious if whomever takes over her spot will have the ability and also balls to correct course. Mainly because I don’t see how the status quo is sustainable without outside intervention and she is bound and determined to crash the ship right up on that EV reef.

I'm not totally opposed to EVs, but they killed the Bolt which was a very practical EV and sold well. Then they decided the market would jump on Hummer and Silverado EVs that do nothing well for $100k.......total dumbfuckery.

One of those POS execs did finally acknowledge they have a quality problem, but offered no solutions. At least the Ford CEO admitted quality problems and changed the structure of performance based bonuses and incentives to change the trajectory.......we'll see if it happens.

Probably not. GM Authority has a story where GM is convinced the competition will stop discounting their models. So they’re going to play a waiting game. Can’t wait for 2030 to roll around we’re still seeing 2024 models unsold on dealer lots.
