I think in some states its pretty clear cut, while others states its harder if not nonexistent. If you really want them to take you serious, you would likely have to lawyer up. They know they can't win if you retained counsel.

Why am I now thinking the delay in the motor recall may be because of the issue with this one since they’re catching so much flak over dealers holding vehicles with no way to fix them.
