25th annual summer he-man-woman-hater's trip to Lake City. Ute-Ulay mine, Lake San Cristobal, two large Cutthroat, an extra large Cuttbow and a jumbo Rainbow from an undisclosed location....

Nice little town. I usually stay in the little cabins.

I like to go over Engineer Pass and into Ouray. The Lake City side is all realitors!

When I was a young man we vacationed there to fish in the Lake Fork of the Gunnison, and Henson Creek. My last trip there was about 15 years ago, and it is Orders of Magnitude different than when I went there in the 70's and 80's after that it blew up! Great memories of that and also Creede.

Blue Mesa was really low last year when I was in that area. The bridge going from US-285 to LC had no water under it!

I read that some of the water went to Lake Powell.
